Swedish Therapeutic Massage
Swedish massage calms your entire body with traditional long, soothing strokes, relaxing tense muscles and tissue, increasing circulation and relaxation. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation. The pressure can range from light to firm depending on your preference. If you request a “full body massage” that will traditionally include your face/scalp, arms/hands, back, neck, hips, front and back of your legs, and your feet. A “full body massage” as indicated above will require a minimum of 60 minutes.

Deep Tissue
Therapeutic Massage
Deep Tissue massage is designed to remove severe tension and is a technique used to relieve both muscles, connective tissue and “knots”. It helps to improve range of motion and assist in healing injuries. The therapist may use their forearms or elbows to achieve deeper pressure. If you request a “full body massage” that will traditionally include your face/scalp, arms/hands, back, neck, hips, front and back of your legs, and your feet. A “full body massage” as indicated above will require a minimum of 60 minutes.

Swedish/Deep Tissue Fusion Massage
This massage fusion is the best of both worlds! This stress-melting combination of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage is the ultimate in therapy. The Swedish massage calms your entire body with traditional long, soothing strokes, relaxing tense muscles and tissue, increasing circulation and relaxation. While the Deep Tissue massage is designed to remove severe tension and “knots”. Sports massage focuses on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive movements. Sports massage can reduce the chance of injury, improve range of motion and muscle flexibility; resulting in improved power and performance and shortened recovery time for any athlete.

Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is specifically tailored for the expectant mother's needs. It can reduce stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints. I provide specially designed pillows to allow the expectant mother the rare luxury of comfortably laying on her stomach if she wishes. Laying on her side supported by pillows is also an option. *I do not massage the expectant mother’s abdomen.

Oncology Massage
Oncology Massage is an approach to massage therapy based in both compassion and specialized massage treatments to help people manage their experience with cancer. All people with cancer or recovering from its treatment can receive touch therapies; but you will need to communicate with your doctor to find out at what time during your treatment it is appropriate to receive massage. Review of the scientific literature indicates oncology massage helps improve quality of life. Benefits include improved relaxation, sleep, body image, and immune function as well as relieving anxiety, pain, fatigue and nausea. Oncology massage therapists are trained to meet people where they are in their experience with cancer and apply a highly individualized massage treatment to comfort, nurture and support them in their process.
