Before Your Massage.
First, I am honored that you have chosen Apple Blossom Massage for your massage needs. I am committed to my vision of seeing that you are getting the best service, the best therapy, and the greatest experience possible at every appointment. I pride myself on building a long-lasting trusting relationship with you.
My online schedule shows my availability up to 60 days at at time. To make an appointment the only information required will be your first and last name, email and phone number. Once you make an appointment you will receive an email confirmation of your appointment. You will also receive an email reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment and a text reminder 24 hours prior to your upcoming appointment.
You have the option to prepay for your appointment at the time of scheduling or at anytime prior to your appointment online. Otherwise, payment will be due at the conclusion of your appointment. *If you are a new client, prepayment online will be required to schedule your first appointment.
If you have prepaid for your appointment and that appointment is cancelled, the dollar amount will automatically go into your account under store credit to be used at a future appointment. If you’d like a refund instead, please contact me.
You will have an opportunity to complete a Client Intake Form online to ensure that you receive the finest massage service(s). I ask that you please fill out this form online prior to your appointment. Because massage should not be performed under certain medical conditions, please answer all questions honestly. We will discuss the desired outcome of your session at your appointment.
Please arrive 5 minutes early if you have not filled out your Intake Form online. If you have, you can arrive at your scheduled time or a few minutes prior. Please always plan on an extra 15 minutes being added to your appointment due to a casual intake & non-rushed aftercare so that your on-table service time will not be compromised.
Please note, for safety reasons, no one (e.g. your children) will be permitted to join you at your appointment since Apple Blossom Massage is located in my home.
To accentuate that personal touch and limit exposure to others, I will be the only person you have contact with from your time of entry to checking out.
Lastly, if you wish, before your massage begins I will assist you in choosing an Aromatherapy scent for your massage. Aromatherapy is a complementary service and is for inhalation purposes only.
During Your Massage.
Your massage session will take place in a private treatment room in my home. You are welcome to park in my driveway. Please know that there are a few stairs to get down to the massage room. The massage room is warm, comfortable, safe, secure and quiet with an air purifier and private bathroom. Soft music will be played to help you relax; please let me know if you’d like the volume adjusted. You will lie on a heated, extra wide, extra long, memory-foam electric massage table that is specially designed for your comfort. I will be more than happy to make any changes to this environment so that you get the utmost out of your session. Please just ask!
Most massage techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you should undress to your level of comfort once I leave the room. Leaving your undergarments on is completely fine. *You will remain clothed for your Foot Massage appointment.
You will be properly draped with a sheet and blanket at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. But even then, if you request, the massage can be performed through a sheet.
That perfect session may be very different from session to session depending on your needs. The specific techniques incorporated in any session always depends on what is most appropriate and effective for you. Often a combination of different techniques works well for successful results. That is why you will not see a difference in my prices between Swedish and Deep Tissue. Also, the use of hot towels are always complimentary.
I will adjust pressure, temperature, and product used per your request. Currently, I use unscented fractionated coconut oil on your body and unscented lotion with arnica, ivy and cucumber extracts on your feet. You may request me to work longer on some areas, shorter on others, or avoid any part. This is your time and I will accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. If you request a “full body massage” that will traditionally include your face/scalp, arms/hands, back, neck, hips, front and back of your legs, and your feet. I do not perform abdominal massage or massage in the groin area. A “full body massage” as indicated above will require a minimum of 60 minutes.
The massage you will receive is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension. Please inform me at anytime so that the amount of pressure may be adjusted to your level of comfort. Please feel free to ask questions or make comments or conversation at any time before, during, or after the session; but also please know if you prefer a silent session you will receive a silent session. This is your time and I will fully respect your wishes.
Please know I have a small cavapoo dog and two small conure parrot birds in my home. They are all dander-free and will be in their kennels while you are here. My husband also works from home but the massage room is sound insulated so you will not experience any distractions.
After Your Massage.
After your massage I encourage you to drink water because drinking water helps rehydrate your body, which will help decrease after-treatment soreness if it exists. I offer complimentary mints and chocolate. Then, if you wish, I will then briefly go over my assessment. Payment is due at the conclusion of your time of service and Cash, Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Discover - Credit or Debit, FSA/HSA/HRA Credit Cards are all accepted. *For contactless payment, you can prepay for your appointment online at the time of scheduling or purchase a gift card online prior to your appointment. (I do not bill insurance but we will happily provide you with a detailed receipt with the appropriate CPT procedural code on it for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.)
Illness Policy.
In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, I ask that if you are sick (which includes a cold, a fever, sore throat, a cough, stuffy nose, the flu, any type of infection, rash, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. Because massage increases your circulation it will make your symptoms worse. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your well being, as well as the health of myself, my family and my other clients.
Please wait until you have been well for at least a week and are symptom free before getting your massage. If you need to cancel your appointment within my 24 hour cancellation requirement, please call or text me as soon as possible and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better. The late cancellation fee will be waived. If you have prepaid for you appointment, once that appointment is cancelled, that dollar amount will automatically go into your account under store credit to be used at a future appointment. If you’d like a refund instead, please contact me.

Cancellation Policy.
My days are scheduled to the minute, so I thank you for honoring and respecting my time and I promise to have the same courtesy for you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact me within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee of $50. If it’s more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment you may make any changes necessary online. If you have prepaid for you appointment and cancelled it, the dollar amount will automatically go into your account under store credit to be used at a future appointment. If you’d like a refund instead, please contact me.
Since I turn away other clients to hold your reservation, if you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment you will be charged the FULL PRICE of the originally scheduled session. I will consider you a “No Show” 15 minutes past your appointment start time. Please be advised that you will be billed for that missed session and will be expected to pay for that missed session before scheduling another appointment.
If late arrival is inevitable (no more than 10 minutes), please contact me immediately, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. When my schedule will allow, I will gladly accommodate a partial or full appointment.
Apple Blossom Massage reserves the right to cancel your client/therapist relationship after two(2) No Show appointments. I also reserve the right to not schedule you for any future appointments if you No Show during your initial (first) appointment.
Private areas will not be massaged under any circumstance. Requests for sexual activity will result in an immediate end to the massage session, with the original price charged, authorities will be contacted, and the client will not be rebooked.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
